Week 3 Day 2

Who’s legs are sore? Oh boy mine are killing me! You know what they say “Sore today, strong tomorrow!”

Since my legs are so sore today I had to switch up my workouts a bit. I didn’t want to injure myself by pushing to hard. So this morning I just stretched and then this afternoon I rested and am going to take an Epsom salt bath to help soothe my muscles a bit. Were you able to push through and get your workouts in today?

Week 3 Day 2

Workin’ my Belly Off

Well, I didn’t do so well on that today. My legs needed a recovery day! It hurt to even walk around today so I figured I needed to take it kind of easy today so I didn’t tear anything. This was not a pain I could push through without the hurting myself.

So my morning consisted of stretching and my afternoon resting with a much needed Epsom salt bath. Have you heard “Sore is the new Sexy” well then I must be a 10 today after leg day yesterday. lol

Abs are made in the kitchen

So I don’t know if it was the fact that I didn’t do a full workout this morning. Maybe it was that my body just needed extra protein or calories to help my muscles recover, but man I was starving. I was not adequately prepared for being this hungry. In turn, I didn’t make the best choice when it came to eating a snack when I got home. I gave into the temptation of eating my left over baked potato and a roll from my dinner out on Saturday. Not really the best snack. 🙁 I can do better!
