Raise your hand if you are one of those girls that blasts music and dances in the car? (My hand is up and waving around!)

If you are one of these girls, I think we just became best friends! I’d take a road trip with you any day! If you aren’t, hopefully this list will help you let loose and have some fun!

Confidence Building PlaylistHow amazing does it feel when your song comes on the radio!!! It’s probably one of the best feelings in the world! (90’s music please) There are just some songs that automatically make you feel a million times better, no matter what type of day you are having. Some days I struggle and need an extra boost of confidence just to make it through the day. So here’s my playlist when life gets me down. (I’m sure it will help you, after all you are my type of people!)

  1. Pretty Girl Rock – Keri Hilson

    I want to start with my go to. I literally play this song on repeat!  It seriously makes me feel super confident no mater what I look like. I feel like I can strut into a party in my PJ’s and still rock it!

  2. Survivor – Destiny’s Child

    Oh my gosh, who didn’t rock out to this song when they were younger?? If you haven’t it is not to late! Turn the volume up and let loose. This song will make you feel like you can conquer anything!

  3.  Star of the Show – Thomas Rhett

    This song isn’t as upbeat as the others. However, it has great lyrics that make me feel confident.

  4. Scars to your Beautiful – Alessia Cara

    This song is a little slow, but COME ON, it’s great! I’ve always loved my scars because there are stories behind them. They are memories! Even if they are bad memories, at least it shows you healed. You overcame something that caused damage to you. Now, you are stronger! Those scars make you beautiful!

  5. I was Born This Way – Lady Gaga

    Now this one’s upbeat! Rock out to it! Be proud of who you are and where you came from! This song will help you have the confidence to do so!

  6. Sit Still Look Pretty – Daya

    I could have put this song under the Single Ladies heading but I figured it didn’t matter what it went under. This song will make you feel like a powerful women! Go out there and work hard for what you want. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t! This song will help you remember that!

So I have a few more songs on my list of go to confidence boosters and these ones are specifically for you! Now if you aren’t single, don’t be afraid to jam out to these songs as well. (True story, I still do and am happily married!.

  1. I look so Good (Without You) – Jessie James

    This song can make anyone feel good! Especially if you are just out of a relationship. Go ahead, get yourself all dolled up. Listen to this song and look at yourself in the mirror. Then go out there and rock the day! Walk around like you own the place. It will make you feel 100 times better! I promise!

  2.  Single Ladies – Beyonce

    Come on, just admit it! We’ve all sang this song at the top of our lungs flipping our left hand front to back! How could you not hear this song and do that!

  3. Red High Heels – Kelly Pickler

    OMG, amazing! Not gonna lie, this song made me go out and get a pair of red high heels. And let me tell you, I rocked them! (Well at least I thought I did and that’s all that matters!)

  4. Before He Cheats – Carrie Underwood

    HAHA if this song doesn’t make you want to go out and vandalize an ex’s car, I don’t know what will. Now, I am not condoning this behavior one bit because it is highly illegal. But even just signing this and imagining it in your head makes you feel so much better!!! Feeling down after being cheated on, grab the mic at karaoke one night and sing this song at the top of your lungs. So much cheaper than therapy and trust me, it works!

  5. Best Days of Your Life – Kelly Pickler

    This is another great break-up song about being cheated on! It is so wonderful and completely true! It will totally help you get over that jerk and build up your confidence again!Don't Let the bad days get you down! Listen to these songs for an instant boost of confidence!

My Christian Music Favorites

So I realize not all of you may be religious. Not a problem, no judgement here. I just wanted to make sure that I included a few of my favorite Christian music songs that always seem to lift me up!

  1. Beautiful Day – Jamie Grace

    I could seriously listen to this song over and over again. It was seriously the song that got me through a few tough years of teaching. I suggest starting your day off with this song! It will change your whole insight on the day ahead of you and put you in a positive light. Even on the toughest of Monday mornings!

  2. He Knows My Name – Francesca Battistelli

    This is another spirit lifting song. It is so upbeat and is a great song to lift you up when you feel like you are nothing. Listening to this song makes me feel special on any day!

So there is the list that I could come up with for now! (Broken down into categories because that’s how my brain works)

You could also add this into your self care routine. I won’t judge if you even count it as your workout. (I do!!) It is some pretty serious cardio!!!
